Applaud Breastfeeding Services brings over 35 years of experience in mom and baby care and breastfeeding services to Northern Iowa and surrounding areas. Consultations are in your home or in the offices in Ames, Story City, Iowa Falls or Hampton, IA.
Sara Macy RN,IBCLC, long time resident and breastfeeding advocate in the Iowa Falls area, will be assisting Angela in the Iowa Falls area as needed. All moms will receive the best in lactation care. Scholarships are available!!

Prenatal Lactation Consultations
A consultation before baby arrives will address your breastfeeding concerns and together we will design a best practice plan for your breastfeeding journey. This plan is individualized based on your history, anatomy and goals for breastfeeding.
Postnatal Lactation consultations
Your baby's oral anatomy, your breast anatomy, your baby's latch and the feeding will be observed. Assistance will be given with latch, positioning, holds, and together we will design a plan for going forward. There will be follow up after the consultation by phone.
