Angela Swieter is the Founding Mother and Past Owner of Basking Babies, LLC, and is a
RN, BSN, IBCLC (recently retired Childbirth Educator and a Birth and Postpartum Doula).
As of January 2024 she established Applaud Breastfeeding Services, LLC
where she focuses now on assisting families and healthcare professionals with all things lactation.
She has received several awards and has been in the news numerous times under the business name Basking Babies, LLC.

Basking Babies joins an elite group of 35 community-based organizations in the world who have been granted this award and is the only community organization to receive this honor in the state of Iowa.
